A category for Asset Manager is missing. The community needs to know about relevant parameters vs. parameters that can be omitted. Moreover there are a lot of people who cannot start Asset Manager due to missing VC++ files and NET files within their Microsoft Windows setup: It appears that you need:

.Net Framework 2.0 .Net Framework 2.0 SP1

.Net Framework 3.0 .Net Framework 3.0 SP1

VC++2005 Redistributable VC++ 2005 Redistributable SP1

It doesn't matter that you eventually have installed newer versions. Some people have reported that VC++ 2005 redist and SP1 of the same package turned out to be sufficient.
